SHEDDERS TOOL SWAP
Following feedback from shed representatives who have attended the Shedders Tea Breaks we will be replacing the Shedders Tea Break with a more structured theme session.

The first session will be a Shed Tool Swap. This will provide an opportunity for sheds to exchange tools with Alliance member sheds or offer surplus tools to new sheds who are just setting up.

Humber Men in Sheds Alliance is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

COVID Comms Survey

The charity 'Charity Comms' would like your views on how COVID has affected your shed and going forward into 2021 what will be your challenges.

There’s no doubt about it, 2020 was an extraordinary year. Full of uncertainty, challenges and change. But looking back, it’s wonderful to reflect on how amazing charities were in the face of so many challenges.

As we enter 2021 we face many of the same challenges and barriers as last year though. So we want to know which are the biggest and the most pressing issues for you? And what opportunities do you see now and in the future?
Just visit the link to report your views...

Feedback from the last Alliance Meeting
Men in Sheds contribution to the health & wellbeing agenda

At the last Alliance meeting it was suggested by one of the member sheds that as a group we should perhaps explore ways of raising the profile of Men in Sheds and the contribution and ways it addresses the health and wellbeing agenda. Whilst public health ERYC have funded the set up of sheds for a number of years it may be useful to collect case studies from shed members, which could be used to demonstrate the impact of Men’s Sheds across the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Some time ago Public Health provided a case study template which you may like to use. I have included a generic version that can be used by sheds in North & North East Lincolnshire. Given the sensitive nature of the narrative that may be supplied, I would suggest that you nominate a trustee to collect all the forms when they are returned. When the forms are collated no names will be used only the content of what was stated.

We will put this as an agenda item for the next Alliance Meeting so this can be discussed in more detail.
